The Wayland Minister provides spiritual support and guidance to the Wayland Community and its individual members. The Minister participates weekly in Kerk meals, Wayland Bible Study, and holds office hours.

The administrator plays a very important role in the life of the Wayland Community. As the landlord presence, the administrator is responsible for the application process, routine maintenance of the Wayland houses, collecting rents and deposits and is a source of information and assistance about the operation of the Community.
The Community Representative is the full time regular student member of the Wayland Board of Directors. The primary role is to be a liaison between the Board and the student community.
The Administrator selects a Maintenance Representative for the community through an application process. This is a paid position of employment within the Francis Wayland Foundation and all members of the community are invited to apply. This position requires some basic handy-person aptitudes like performing minor household maintenance and repairs (comfort with and enjoyment of using tools and practical problem solving are desired).
The Administrator and Wayland Minister select a House Representative for each house through an application process. This is a paid position of employment within the Francis Wayland Foundation and all members of the community are invited to apply. This position requires an aptitude for community leadership while maintaining cordial relationships with all household residents.
